But you can never adapt a Z-Mount lens for the EF mount, because it will never be in focus. Even that is not true since 4/3, APSC, and smaller lenses won't work well on Z mount. Also, with the BMPCC4K which has an M4/3 mount not only can almost all lenses be adapted without issue, speed boosters will give individual lenses multiple uses. Back in the day they made special adapters that allowed lenses with shorter registration distances to work on different cameras.
