It is commonly used for building enterprise-level web applications that require high performance and security. Java frameworks like Spring and Hibernate offer tools for building complex back-end systems with ease.

Typically, you need code to transform these elements into a webpage and later an overall website as well as a database to store this code. However, Webflow does this for you by merging these components in the Webflow Designer and Editor. The top image shows Bazil’s portfolio homepage, which uses a black and white photo with a transparent background paired with oversized typography. This combination provides a professional but visually appealing first impression. When used strategically, typography can be a strong indicator of a brand’s identity. If you explore Leandro Assis’s website, you’ll find that typography is central to his brand — which makes sense, since Leandro is a lettering artist.

It inherits all of the attributes like sizing, color, and alignment that may already be in place. Combo classes save you time and let you set up variations of a class that you can apply wherever you need to in a web design. Headings, paragraphs, links, and images are all controlled by these tags.

My journey into web development began in the vibrant world of front-end development, where I loved turning code into visually appealing, interactive web pages. There are always malicious actors looking to find vulnerabilities in websites to expose private information, steal data, and crash servers. Cybersecurity is the practice of securing data, networks, and computers from these threats. That’s because browsers — at the front-end — only understand HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but a server — at the back-end — can be configured to understand pretty much any language. HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is what connects our website request to the remote server that houses all website data. It’s a set of rules (a protocol) that defines how messages should be sent over the Internet.

PHP seamlessly integrates with HTML and provides powerful features for handling databases, generating dynamic content, and interacting with web servers. Popular PHP frameworks like Laravel and Symfony enhance productivity and maintainability for complex web applications. It offers a wide range of frameworks, such as Django and Flask, that simplify back-end development tasks like database management and handling HTTP requests. Python's extensive libraries and frameworks make it a popular choice among back-end developers. Embedded developers work with all hardware that isn't a computer (or, at least, what most of us imagine as “computers,” with a keyboard and screen). This includes electronic interfaces, consumer devices, IoT devices, real-time systems, and more.

Expert professionals and proven processes, all working together, strategically, deliver the very best in web design. Still, business owners want to focus on their actual products and services rather than building and managing their websites. Professional Web Developers provide an essential service to businesses and organizations for a few reasons. In the design phase, the dev team begins to create something like an actual website. Layouts, images, logos, colors, fonts, and other aesthetic features are put together and visualized during this phase. The client may provide an existing logo and color scheme or be open to designs your team presents.

App Lab titles will soon be featured in a dedicated section of the store on all our devices, making them easy for larger audiences to discover. We believe a more open ecosystem is the best way to bring the power of mixed reality to as many people as possible. With more devices, this new ecosystem will offer more choice to consumers and businesses around the world. To test for the best web design software we first set up an account with the relevant software platform.

And because this social layer is made to bridge multiple platforms, people can spend time together in virtual spaces that exist across mixed reality, mobile and desktop devices. Meta Horizon OS devices will also use the same mobile companion app that Meta Quest owners use today, which we’ll rename to the Meta Horizon app. Developers and creators can take advantage of all these technologies to create mixed reality experiences. Meta Horizon OS is the result of a decade of work at Meta to build a next-generation computing platform. To pioneer standalone headsets, we developed technologies like inside-out-tracking and self-tracked controllers. To allow for more natural interaction systems and social presence, we pioneered hand, eye, face and body tracking.

With this subscription, you'll get richer notifications, custom alerts and the ability to save and share videos. Look no further than this video doorbell from Google, which impressed our tech experts in tests for its sharp video resolution, wide field of view and excellent night vision. Not only is it easy to view video history from the Google Home app (where you can see all your other smart home devices within the Google ecosystem), but our pros found alerts to be both accurate and timely. If you opt to use security cameras, consider only those models made by companies that provide robust cybersecurity and privacy protections. Our top pick and our runner-up pick include two-factor authentication, which does a good job of ensuring that access to your camera and video recordings is restricted. The Abode Smart Security Kit is the only one of our picks that currently makes 2FA an option—Ring and SimpliSafe require it.

Why We Picked It

Unlike the Blink Outdoor 4, though, the Wyze Cam v4 needs to be plugged into an outlet. In addition to its mobility, Ring’s Stick Up camera offers motion detection with alerts, two-way audio and the ability to customize motion or privacy zones to focus the camera on important areas. A home/away feature lets you quickly switch between modes to help save on battery life when you’re home, and if you ever find the perfect spot, the cam also comes with a wall mount.

Arlo Pro 4: Best wireless home security camera

Many of these devices can connect with other compatible smart home devices, such as the best smart locks, the best smart lights, and the best video doorbells, as well as voice assistants such as Alexa and Google Assistant. We've made sure to test how well these devices perform both as standalone and connected devices, as well as checking out the overall specs, performance, features, and design of each device using our collective years of tech expertise. To that end, we’ve included indoor and outdoor cameras in this guide for the best security cameras and models at different price points and with different features so that you can find the one that’s best for your needs.

ADT - Best With a Complete Home Security System

That means your videos can’t be accessed by anyone, including Ring, even if the footage is requested by law enforcement via a subpoena or court order. Your camera probably relies on cloud services for storage and to provide remote access to recordings. That said, some models have a microSD card slot that allows you to save recordings locally. If you are worried about online security and don't want to pay a subscription fee to store your videos, the latter is a better option. Once you connect your camera, you can access a live view and any recordings via your smartphone or tablet.

The best security system for smart-home enthusiasts

I’ve also contributed to The New York Times, Wired, and Men’s Health, among others. Some brands sell indoor cameras in the $20-$30 range, and outdoor cameras start around $60-$70 and go up from there. We spend thousands of hours testing home security cameras hands-on, so we know the best security cameras for specific budgets, lifestyles, and scenarios. From wireless DIY cameras to robust HDR camera systems, we’ve compiled the best options for your needs. Not all cloud service subscriptions work the same way; the number of days' worth of recordings they keep and the number of cameras you can monitor with a single subscription often varies. Some companies offer free cloud storage but overwrite recordings typically after about a week.

Before joining CR in 2017, he was an editor at USA Today’s Reviewed, and launched the site’s smart home section. Rachel Cericola is a senior staff writer at Wirecutter who has been covering smart-home technology since the days of X10.

If you want a model specifically for keeping tabs on what goes on inside your home, head over to our list of the best indoor home security cameras. However, home security cameras are more affordable than CCTV and far easier to install. However, most home security cameras don't record continuously, and if the internet connection drops, some cameras won't be able to record.

You also get an extended warranty, cellular backup, person alerts, and assisted monitoring. If you're looking for an outdoor home security camera on a budget, you'll be hard pushed to do better than the Wyze Cam v3. This full HD camera records clear footage during the day and at night and comes with free cloud storage for up to 14 days and a Micro SD card slot for local storage, making it a more than worthy competitor to other budget cameras. Most other security camera companies — Ring, Nest, Arlo, etc. — charge a subscription in order to use all of the camera's features, such as saving video and getting customized alerts. To find a detailed breakdown of what each company offers, check out our guide on security camera storage plans. Wireless options are usually easier to install and operate, and often use cloud storage, so you can access your footage from anywhere.

Best doorbell camera

In simplest terms, your camera won't be effective if the only footage being recorded is grainy and unreadable. CNET has tested tons of home security cameras over the years, and can help you find the right one for your needs. A GH Institute expert favorite for both indoor and outdoor monitoring, Arlo cameras have consistently stood out in Lab tests for exceptional performance. Installing the Arlo on a wall is as simple as screwing in the magnetic base and popping the camera on. Because the camera is wireless, you can attach it anywhere you want within Wi-Fi range, which includes outdoor spaces thanks to its weather-resistant design. Give directly to The Spokesman-Review's Northwest Passages community forums series -- which helps to offset the costs of several reporter and editor positions at the newspaper -- by using the easy options below.

Whether you want to use it as a baby monitor or as a means to keep Fido off the sofa, this camera’s advanced motion tracking won’t disappoint. They can’t capture images after dark because the night vision LEDs reflect off the glass, blinding the camera. Read our full review of the Arlo Pro 4 security camera to get all the details.

The Eufy SoloCam S340 is a unique outdoor home security camera that is equipped with two high-resolution lenses, one for wide-angle viewing and the other for telephoto zooming. It runs on battery power, which makes it very easy to install, and it comes with a small solar panel to stay powered indefinitely. While on the pricey side, the SoloCam S340 offers a lot of bang for your buck, including sharper video than similarly priced competitors, free local storage, and mechanical pan and tilt capabilities. The camera records video when it detects motion and offers free intelligent alerts that differentiate between people, pets, vehicles, and other motion events, a feature many competitors charge extra for.

Just remember, the higher the video quality, the more bandwidth it takes up and the more likely your camera is to experience lag times or glitches. Hands-on testing is core to our evaluation of any home security products. When these products hit the market, or sometimes even earlier, we get our hands on them and thoroughly test them in a real-home environment over the course of a week. This indoor/outdoor 4K camera shines a customizable LED spotlight wherever you need extra illumination, letting you change the color to match different camera modes or purposes. It also comes with color night vision and built-in object detection for people, vehicles, animals and packages at no additional cost. The S230 cam comes with an extra-high IP67 rating to stay active even in extreme weather, 2K resolution and a starlight sensor to keep details high at night.

The Best Outdoor Home Security Cameras for 2024

It's not quite as value-rich as the Eufy E220, which costs less and offers sharper 2K video, local storage, and mechanical pan and tilt support, but it's a smart choice if you're already committed to the Arlo ecosystem. Note that an Arlo Secure subscription is required to access recorded video and to unlock intelligent alerts and other features. If you're in the market for an affordable wireless security camera with long battery life and 2K resolution, the TP-Link Tapo Wire-Free MagCam is a top pick. The Arlo Essential XL is a strong alternative with slightly longer battery life, but it costs more for 2K resolution, has a narrower field of view, and lacks local storage support.

Runner-up: TP-Link Tapo Wire-Free Magnetic Security Camera

Security cameras are ubiquitous today, as they are sold by most home security companies. They will be advertised for either indoor or outdoor use; though anytime you see “indoor/outdoor,” that simply means the camera is built for pretty much any conditions. However, if and when a crime does occur on your property, the security camera will record the activity so that you can use it for evidence. Video footage is hard evidence, and it can be helpful in a number of scenarios when seeking insurance compensation, restoration, and even justice.

Storage

Others, like Arlo's indoor camera, include design features that make it totally clear when the camera is watching and when it's not. In general, though, devices with physical shields are always a solid option if you're worried about maintaining your privacy. Many people are uncomfortable trusting companies with their home video footage, especially when data breaches keep cropping up. The brands on our list do fairly well at security, but if you’re looking for an alternative, Lorex is made for you.

How Mesh Wi-Fi Networks Can (and Can’t) Make a Better Smart Home

The price is also right for this compact indoor camera, though it can get a bit more expensive if you opt for a subscription. And, unfortunately, you need one to unlock all the features and storage options that the Ring Indoor Cam has, such as being able to automate privacy or call back a recording from up to 180 days prior. Reasonably-priced, this indoor camera is rich with features that include a privacy cover that cuts both video and audio as well as a color night vision. To really make use of the camera's features, you'll have to shell out for the Nest Aware subscription, which starts at $6 per month.

How to Pick the Best Home Security Camera

A camera not only alerts you to dangers and guests, but also creates a record of the events that happen all around the outside of your home—be it falling trees, floodwaters, or a neighbor’s unkind dog. However, after reviewing dozens of cameras over the past seven years, we have yet to find a perfect model. Some are hard to place, some need frequent charging, and others require a paid subscription to be most effective.

But its best feature is its two-year battery life - the longest we've seen on an outdoor cam. Flanked by two bright spotlights that turn on every time motion is detected, this outdoor camera also features 3D Motion, which is designed to minimize false alerts. He oversees all evergreen content and oversees the Homes, Smart Home, and Fitness/Wearables categories for the site. In his spare time, he also tests out the latest drones, electric scooters, and smart home gadgets, such as video doorbells.

Other home security cameras we've reviewed

If you have a sunny spot you're looking to monitor, this is a top choice that doesn't require a GFCI outlet or manual battery charges for power. To ensure the home security cameras we’ve reviewed can be fairly compared, we’ve tested and analysed several crucial features covering style, performance, and practicalities. The two types of home security camera are those for outdoor or indoor use. Indoor cameras tend to be cheaper than outdoor cameras because they aren't geared up to brace the weather, and they won't have the longer battery-life which comes with the battery-powered outdoor camera. Some need to be connected to mains power, which may mean you need to employ a professional to install it, whereas others are battery-powered. Look for home security cameras with swappable batteries, so you can purchase additional batteries and ensure the camera isn't out of action for several hours when the battery needs recharging.

Higher resolution cameras will mean you can zoom into the footage and still pick out precise details such as car number plates. The Full HD footage is clear, although while in color during the day, the lack of any form of light to illuminate the video means it's in black and white at night, and one other area where it's lacking is person detection. Unlike many affordable home security cameras on the market, it can't distinguish whether a person or another source created the motion that triggered an alert.

The only difference is that this model does not include a built-in Eero 6 router, but if you already have a mesh network or don’t want one, you can get almost the exact same security system for less money. This kit is affordable and easy to install and use, and it works reliably. The optional monitoring plan costs the same as the one for our top pick but doesn’t provide video storage. Modern security cameras are much more accessible than their counterparts of yesteryear. They’re easy to set up, relatively affordable, and their mere presence tells would-be thieves that you’re serious about security.

It also makes it a great choice for outdoor surviellance in spots with no access to electric power. Unlike our other two picks, the Abode hub needs to be connected to your network router with an Ethernet cable. (The Abode Iota uses Wi-Fi, but we don’t recommend that system.) We found the Abode Gateway hub to be less attractive and a little bulky compared with our other picks, about the same size as a standard router.

Bluetooth cameras are also simple to install, but you have to stay within 30 feet or so to connect to them via your phone. If you need to record people, pets, and vehicles on or around your property in high resolution, the Eufy Cam 3 S330 is a top choice. And its solar charging panel means you can place it wherever you want without worrying about having to take it down to recharge the battery. However, if you're not willing to pay for a monthly subscription, you'll miss out on person detection.

For a brief period of time, Wyze was experiencing an issue with its online camera portal and a small number of logged in Wyze users were able to see camera feeds that were not their own. We like that the Abode Security Kit (which is different from the Abode Smart Security Kit) is smaller than our also-great pick, but any of our other picks—or even the Arlo system—would be a better buy. Sign up for Lab Report to get the latest reviews and top product advice delivered right to your inbox. Look for an outdoor Wi-Fi camera that can connect to either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz radio band to alleviate network congestion. If you have trouble getting a good signal outside, try boosting it with a wireless range extender.

Eco-friendly and sustainable themes are gaining traction, reflecting a global shift towards environmental consciousness in fashion, including t-shirt designs. Simple designs with bold typography are great choices for their sleek and impactful look. They work well with bold print colors, creating an eye-catching design for a logo or graphic.

Instead, you have to actually learn how vector design works and create your own designs from the ground up. For example, if you plan to screenprint, you should purchase software that provides a color separator and vector design tools. This will allow you to prep every individual color for printing on an individual screen. The pixel composition makes raster images look weird if you zoom in or enlarge because you can get a blurry or pixelated view.

Trump took shelter in a White House bunker as protests raged

But much of the meeting was about Iran’s attack, U.S. officials said. The record was previously long held by the Eisenhower administration, which spread 26 trees across each floor of the house. First Lady Dolley Madison — who lived in the White House at the time — refused to leave the burning building until the portrait was accounted for. A 19-year-old man who is facing multiple charges after crashing a box truck into security barriers near the White House on Monday night told the authorities he would kill the president and expressed a personal admiration for Hitler. The Reuters news agency published an image showing a Nazi-style red flag emblazoned with a swastika laid on the ground beside the van. Reuters, citing its own photographer on the scene and a witness, reported that the items apparently taken from the truck had been placed on the sidewalk and were seized by officers. Guglielmi said in a later statement posted to Twitter that the truck had been deemed safe by Washington D.C. Police and that "preliminary investigation reveals the driver may have intentionally struck the security barriers." "There were no injuries to any Secret Service or White House personnel and the cause and manner of the crash remain under investigation," Anthony Guglielmi, the Secret Service chief of communications, said in a statement Monday night.

But just four short days later, after Israel responded with military strikes inside Iran, the White House didn’t want to talk about its world-class intel. Ten people have died in the White House, including two presidents (William Henry Harrison and Zachary Taylor) and three first ladies (Letitia Tyler, Caroline Harrison and Ellen Wilson). During WWI, President Woodrow Wilson used the White House lawn to make a unique statement about his support for American troops — by having a flock of sheep graze on the grass.

Meanwhile, Trump supporters head to both the Arkansas and Idaho state capitol buildings. Republican state legislators all opposed the measure, arguing that it would inundate local election administrators with lawsuits and complicate routine changes to voting. The United States would not seek to retain some sanctions for leverage, the official said, arguing that the previous “maximum pressure” campaign waged against Iran by the Trump administration had failed. But generating sustained support for the proposal is shaping up to be a major challenge for the White House.

The driver, who emerged from the car with a knife, was shot and killed, according to the police. Officer Evans was one of two officers who were injured when they were rammed by a vehicle at the U.S. Images posted on social media appeared to show emergency workers treating someone on the driveway of the Capitol. A blue car could be seen rammed into a security barricade, with the driver’s side door and trunk open.

“We are seeing journalists in Gaza continuing to be, not just killed, but detained, tortured, and even their families killed,” he said. In his speech, Biden offered a toast for “press freedom and democracy around the world”, but failed to speak about the suffering in Gaza. He spent most of his address poking fun at his main rival in this year’s presidential race, Donald Trump, as well as the two men’s advanced age.

The pair, who publicly maintained they had been invited to the event, pled the fifth at a congressional hearing examining the breach. "I want my son, and I'm not leaving until my son-in-law is out of jail," Timmers reportedly told authorities during the ensuing four-and-a-half hour standoff. Soldiers reportedly sat down to eat a meal made of leftover food before ransacking the presidential mansion and setting it ablaze. Fortunately, President James Madison and his wife Dolley had already fled to safety in Maryland. The first lady famously rescued a life-sized portrait of George Washington from going up in flames. Kandula allegedly told authorities he had been planning the attack for six months and detailed the plans in a "green book," the document states.

Nominee to Maryland elections board questioned after predecessor resigned amid Capitol riot charges

The remaining four were among the supporters of Donald Trump who stormed the US Capitol, attempting to halt counts of electoral college ballots that would formally seal Joe Biden’s victory over the incumbent president. Armed supporters of President Donald Trump chant during a protest on Jan. 6, 2021, in Salem, Ore. Trump supporters gathered at state capitols across the U.S. that day to protest the ratification of Joe Biden's Electoral College victory over Trump. Elsewhere in the country, protesters gather — at the Louisiana and Florida state capitols and the Ohio Statehouse. Alone among the states of the former Confederacy, Virginia is increasingly encouraging its citizens — especially people of color — to exercise their rights.

The spokesman for Representative Matt Gaetz, the Florida Republican under federal investigation into whether he violated laws against sex trafficking, has abruptly resigned amid mounting scrutiny of his boss, the congressman’s office confirmed on Friday. The suspect, who rammed his vehicle into the officers and exited the vehicle holding a knife, was shot and killed. The suspect, Noah R. Green, 25, was identified by two law enforcement officials and a congressional official. He was from Indiana and died after being shot by the Capitol Police.

Wearing sunglasses and a checkered windbreaker, an unemployed 22-year-old named Anthony Holbert parked near the northwest White House gate on Pennsylvania Avenue and approached the executive mansion. He pulled a samurai sword from a scabbard, waved it in the air and asked to speak with Ronald Reagan, who was then inside entertaining the French president. Sensing the sword-wielding man was mentally unstable and possibly suicidal, officers persuaded Holbert to lay down his weapon and surrender. Kandula put the truck in reverse and crashed into the barrier a second time before United States Park Police officers took him into custody, the documents state. The 19-year-old Missouri man accused of deliberately driving a rented box truck into a White House barrier allegedly told authorities that he admires Nazis and wanted to "seize power" and "kill the president," court documents released Tuesday show.

Sicknick died on Thursday night after being removed from life support. Jill and I were heartbroken to learn of the violent attack at a security checkpoint on the U.S. We send our heartfelt condolences to Officer Evans’ family, and everyone grieving his loss. We know what a difficult time this has been for the Capitol, everyone who works there, and those who protect it. Around the same time, a swarm of rioters chanting, "Break it down! Break it down!" overwhelms Capitol Police officers guarding the Speaker's Lobby, where lawmakers are sheltered.

The protests in the US capital forced Biden’s motorcade to take an alternate route from the White House to the Washington Hilton, where more than 100 protesters, some of them waving Palestinian flags, shouted “shame on you” at guests hurrying inside. On Christmas Day, 25-year-old Marshall Fields crashed his Chevy Impala through a White House gate and drove to the north portico. Surrounded by officers, he claimed to be the Messiah and threatened to detonate what appeared to be a bomb strapped to his body. After four hours of negotiations, Fields surrendered; his explosives turned out to be flares. At the height of the War of 1812 between the United States and England, British troops stormed the White House.

Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro review

blackmagic design pocket cinema camera 6k pro

I think the absence of the words IBIS and stabilisation means there's less chance of that. Showing a photo of the camera on a flat surface with an 85mm lens isn't enough to mislead IMO. If the photo had someone filming handheld with that lens, then yes, misleading advertising.

They're not dead, necessarily, but most are relegated to specific professional uses or the video equivalent of point-and-shoots. However, several features on the BMPCC 6K Pro make a strong case for cameras that are designed for video first. On the rear of the camera, buttons to adjust the aperture and focus automatically (if your lens supports these features) are handily right next to your right thumb. Finally, there are three programmable buttons along the top, which by default are mapped to the False Color feature, a default LUT, and frame guides.

Media

Portable digital film camera with wide dynamic range 4096 x 2160 resolution image sensor, MFT lens mount, large touchscreen, 3D LUTs and Blackmagic RAW, so you can capture Hollywood quality images. The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera features an innovative and high speed USB-C Expansion Port that operates at up to 5 Gb/s. USB-C is available on most new computers and even provides power.

Mini XLR Adapter Cables

However, the controls are well-designed with a large Rec button and an obvious control dial on the front to adjust aperture. There are clear buttons to change ISO and white balance, and three customisable function buttons ideal for false colour, the effect of the display LUT and frame guidelines. So Blackmagic worked its hocus-pocus and the new Pro version of the camera comes with a tilting rear screen, built-in ND filters and an optional EVF that slots onto the top plate once you remove a blanking panel.

And Canon still makes lots of EF glass, they just aren't designing new models. With the RF mount this BlackMagic camera could have been viable competitor to the C70. Both S35, but the C70 with brilliantly reliable tracking video AF.

That's almost three times larger than a Super 35 sensor and allows you to shoot with a shallow depth of field or to use anamorphic lenses uncropped for a true cinematic look. Plus you can shoot up to 36 fps at full sensor resolution or 120 fps windowed. This amazing sensor combined with Blackmagic color science means you get the same imaging technology as expensive digital cinema cameras. I’m an indie documentary maker who has worked on programs for Netflix and History Channel, as well as feature-length films.

The quality of RAW and the speed of video!

But you can never adapt a Z-Mount lens for the EF mount, because it will never be in focus. Even that is not true since 4/3, APSC, and smaller lenses won't work well on Z mount. Also, with the BMPCC4K which has an M4/3 mount not only can almost all lenses be adapted without issue, speed boosters will give individual lenses multiple uses. Back in the day they made special adapters that allowed lenses with shorter registration distances to work on different cameras. The truth is any lens can work on any mount with the right adapter. @brownie314, but you probably wouldn't like the look from Blackmagic Designs products, because they aim to produce a more filmic look and they have a specific color.

Ultimately, it seems like the explosion in video demand over the last 10 years has helped to push photo cameras to the point where it's hard to imagine wanting "more" in photo capabilities than what exists today. I haven't used one, but I know the existing BM Pocket 6k's image quality and "cinema look" (and BM Raw) have been praised. One can always get a Canon C70, and have better controls, ports, buttons, excellent AF, and more...

All models let you shoot up to 60 fps in full resolution or 120 fps windowed. An amazing sensor combined with Blackmagic color science means you get the same imaging technology as the most expensive digital film cameras. The elegant design of Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K packs an incredible number of high end digital film features into a miniaturized, handheld design based on the Pocket Cinema Camera platform. Made from lightweight carbon fiber polycarbonate composite, the camera has a multifunction handgrip with all controls for recording, ISO, WB and shutter angle right at your fingertips. Plus the large 5" LCD makes it possible to get perfect focus at 6K resolution. You also get a removable battery door, 4 shock proof microphones, heavy duty lens mount and built in speaker. Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K features a massive full frame sensor with a native resolution of 6048 x 4032.

The main power switch is located on the top next to a row of 3 customizable function buttons. Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera records using standard open file formats so you don’t have to waste time transcoding media. Files are compatible with all post production software so you can work with the software of your choice, or use the included DaVinci Resolve Studio.

The Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro is available now from a wide range of retailers, priced at $2,495 / £2,254 / AU$3,935. Included in the price is a license for DaVinci Resolve Studio 17 desktop editing software. There’s no image stabilization, no tracking autofocus and its stills capabilities are rudimentary in the extreme. If you don’t know video inside-out and aren’t willing to invest in things like gimbals, you’re better off going with something a bit more beginner-friendly like the Panasonic Lumix GH5S. But if you want to shoot beautifully cinematic footage in stunning quality that can be graded to within an inch of its life, with shallow depth-of-field from the Super35mm sensor, then it makes a lot of sense.

Only enough video to drive a good EVF and rear display. We are interested to buy some great pure stills cameras. There are more than enough pure video cams like this BM.

The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro includes more pro features such as built in 2, 4 and 6 stop motorized ND filters with selectable ND, stop reduction or fraction settings shown on the display. Between the shrimp and grits with scrambled eggs to the braised oxtail hash with poached eggs, the cage-free eggs section of the menu has a handful of tasty options. Eggs Benedict lovers will rejoice at Geoffrey's four different takes on the iconic brunch dish. Rather than ham, the classic eggs benedict is made with prosciutto while the Scotch Benedict is made with smoked salmon.

For years, vegans and non-vegans have flocked to this beautiful and airy restaurant to indulge in the beloved shaved ice margaritas. However, bottomless mimosas are also an option here, but they're on the more expensive side. That said, the $35 price tag stems from the fact that these mimosas are not made with your typical Korbel and Tropicana.

Post & Beam

It makes every brunch hitlist and occupies the stunning historic building that legendary actor Charlie Chaplin constructed. While the interior space is undeniably the most significant wow factor,  you can also indulge in their French-inspired brunch menu on their cozy ourdoor patio. If you can’t decide between the lobster omelet, potato pancakes, and Croque Madame, let us remind you that you also can’t go wrong with the perfect pastries or a simple french butter on toast. And when they ask if you want to top it with bacon, make it a resounding yes. Pair that with their otherworldly buttermilk pancakes and you’ll have the perfect combination of savory and sweet to launch you into the weekend. Unlike many of the restaurants on this list, Post & Beam also offers bottomless mimosas during brunch, allowing you to get a bang for your buck.

Opened in 2014 by husband-wife duo Chef Michael Reed and Kwini Reedwith, this California-inspired American eatery features elevated brunch classics in a cozy, sunlit corner of the Flower District. The ruby rose is light and refreshing, making it a wonderful morning or early afternoon sipper. However, The Rose also has plenty of wine by the glass, including a popular orange wine. Agua Viva by chef José Andrés is a modern yet inviting restaurant located at the Conrad Los Angeles. The views are spectacular, the cocktails are inventive, and the food is top-notch – but would you expect anything less from José Andrés? The shiso spicy margarita is the perfect balance of refreshing and spicy, and it's exactly what you'll want to be sipping as you look out onto the city skyline. That said, the quiche of the day is always a winner and truly tastes similar to what you'll find while dining at a quaint bistro in Paris. Breakfast & Brunch Spots in Rochester, NY

The raw bar features plenty of light bites like shrimp cocktail and fresh oysters on the half-shell. If breakfast classics are more your game, enjoy everything from the original egg sandwich to the California burrito to the cinnamon sugar French toast. The Henry also serves a premium selection of salads that are available all-day long, but the seared tuna chop is a local favorite. Its modern and refined interior has an industrial edge that is especially apparent on the enclosed patio. Though the brunch menu does feature a couple of breakfast classics like chilaquiles, it primarily focuses on more modern and savory creations. Kick off your meal with some seafood-focused appetizers like the lobster or tuna tostadas and the scallop aquachile.

The Griddle Cafe

Located inside of the Rochester Memorial Art Gallery, Brown Hound is the perfect place to spend a relaxed afternoon grabbing brunch then taking a stroll to appreciate some of Rochester’s fine art.

Spoke Bicycle Cafe

Food-wise, the menu stand-outs are the crispy hash browns and the sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. When it comes to appetizers, don't miss out on the selection of Spanish cheese and the yuzu-forward Peruvian scallops. If you're dining with more than a couple of people, the fried whole sea bream is a show-stopper that pairs perfectly with the house-made tartar sauce. And for the sweet side of things, we recommend the caramelized croissant and lemon ricotta pancakes. Dear Jane’s immortalizes a bygone type of hospitality that is well worth a visit. All the breakfast items "from the griddle" are served all day long, but you can never go wrong with the good old-fashioned buttermilk pancakes. The 100% pure maple syrup from Vermont is incredibly flavorful, but you can always sweeten the experience even further with vanilla whipped cream or powdered sugar. Of course, the buttermilk pancakes never get old, but the fried chicken thigh and buttermilk waffle with whipped honey butter is the créme de la créme when it comes to griddle goods.

Though there are only a handful of items on the brunch menu, each one is well worth checking out. Seafood lovers will appreciate the rich and butter lobster avocado toast as well as the Dungeness crab eggs Benedict. Consider ordering a few dishes to share, but don't skip on Hernando's black truffle Monte Cristo. When you imagine outdoor brunch in your head, this is probably what you imagine. This American-style diner is not only immersed in nature but there’s a strong environmental theme that runs through the entire eatery, from the menu to the decor.
